Phoenix
Institute's 2010 Retreat with Samuel
April 1518, 2010
In case you haven't heard by now, this year's retreat
with Samuel was a huge success! Of the 87 people who attended everyone
we spoke with said they loved the new location.
The staff at Boone Tavern and the city of Berea charmed
everyone, and the newly rennovated hotel was elegant, comfortable and
made for a much more intimate retreat experience than in year's past.
In a word, "Perfect."
Sharing 5 vegan group meals, thus giving everyone
even more time together, helped create deeper bonds amongst the group.
Boone Tavern's meeting room provided a more intimate experience that
many, including and, perhaps especially, Samuel, really liked. And,
the built-in sound system made it easy to hear Samuel from any area
of the room. Many people said that the smaller size of the hotel and
the fact that we were having meals together in the elegant dining
room made the weekend seem more like a group mini-trip with Samuel
than a retreat. What wonderful and exciting feedback to receive on
this new location!
As always, Samuel's teachings were the highlight
of the weekend. He gave us a lot of incredible information which will
keep us busy for quite a while. For a synopisis of Samuel's weekend
teachings, please see the description below.
In addition to Samuel's life-changing teachings,
the retreat included a special presentation by Kathy Adams on creating
your own vision and how to share that vision with the world. Her teaching
and accompanying PDF handouts are included with the MP3s and CDs of
the weekend.
We repeatedly heard people say that this year's
group of retreat announcers were among the best we've ever had. Listen
to how each announcer came to meet Samuel and why they continue to
take part in his work. Their journeys are diverse and inspirational.
We hope that you'll take a few moments and listen to these heart-touching
stories (see sidebar on right).

Samuel's
2010 Retreat Teachings Description
Samuel uses Phoenix Institutes annual retreat weekends to give
in-depth teachings laced with warmth, wisdom and humor, on a wide variety
of topics.
During this transformative weekend, Samuels
teachings include: a deeper understanding of Star-weaving with important
pointers for making it more effective for us; why new tools are now
needed for eliminating fear and resistance; defining and recognizing
greed, how it is the opposite side of the incoming Shining Energy,
and how it manifests in Guardians; how to establish trust and why
it eradicates greed; PLUS, a special teaching from Kathy Adams about
creating our vision* and working in unity; vision as a powerful tool
for successful day-to-day living; special information about the North
American Dragon Force, and the work Samuel plans for his 2010 and
2011 group trips; the animal and plant kingdoms and their next
step; short periods of Questions and Answers; more information
about the Crystal Palace and who goes there; beyunds
and how to get rid of them; Illusion and manipulations that feed the
Illusion; and more. *(special handouts provided by PDF on separate CD)
Listen
In this section of the retreat Samuel talks about the destructiveness
of greed and how Guardians working with Shining Energy can more easily
