Information from Samuel about the Mississippi and India Trips
During the recent interview for Phoenix Rising's Fall issue
(Phoenix Institute's newsletter) editors David and Paula Thomson
received some new information about the upcoming Mississippi
Group Trip and how the group's work there ties in to next year's
group trip to India.
Phoenix Rising: How will the
enhanced merging and attunement abilities with the animal
and plant kingdoms that are being imparted to those on the
Mississippi trip be made available to the Guardianship who
are not able to go on that trip?
Samuel: First,
I'm not sure that "enhanced abilities" is accurate.
You're going to learn to merge with those kingdoms. That's
going to make possible what you have not thought was possible,
yet was always available to Guardians.
The reason that I want a very large group
for the Mississippi Dragon work is two-fold. One of them is
that the Mississippi Dragon offers challenges the other trips
have not. But the other reason is that a secondary work on
that trip is to prepare those who will be able to take what
they have done and use it in the work that will be done in
India. The Dragon in India is all about those kingdoms, so
the working at the Brahmaputra is going to profoundly affect
the plant and animal kingdoms. Once there are some who are
capable of merging with that energy, they can be used to awaken
that Dragon force.
So the ability to contribute to that will
be lessened by not being able to go on the Mississippi trip.
Will they still be able to make a meaningful contribution?
I can make use of energy wherever it is,
so that's not the issue. If you've not been on the Mississippi
trip, you will still have a very important role within the
Dragon work, but going further-to raise up the Dragon that
will change the plant and animal kingdoms-is going to require
those who are already capable of functioning in and as those
kingdoms. So if you've gone on the Mississippi trip, then
I want you in India to help with this project. The more who
have gone on the Mississippi trip, the greater the pool will
be. When finances and work and other things keep some people
from being able to go, there will be more who may be able
to.
But this question was, How will others get
it? I'm saying that it's not something that can be taught,
because the advantage of having me to open that door won't
be available.

 First
Sundays with Samuel
Samuel’s free, first Sunday of the month programs at Phoenix
Institute are where many people first encounter Samuel and his special
way of teaching. If you live in or are visiting the Lexington, Kentucky
area, you are invited to join Samuel at a first Sunday meeting.
It’s a warm and supportive dialogue laced with Samuel’s
good humor, encouragement, and marvelously practical teachings about
spiritual growth.
There is a special energy to these meetings,
which Samuel attributes to the work he does with the energy of those
present, combined with the energy of the people in attendance; and
perhaps as an extension of that, we’ve found that it isn’t
unusual for many people in the audience to feel as though Samuel
directed his whole talk specifically to them. There is a reception
following Samuel’s teaching that is a good chance to learn
more about how Phoenix works or discuss the evening’s message;
or, if you’d rather, just socialize and eat dessert!
Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. and usually last
